Should I trim the stem back or just leave it? will it be able to rebloom?
My Orchid (Phal) accidentally had a bag dropped on it and the flowers snapped off, how should i care for it??
Actually if those flowers have been in the plant for quite a while then it was good that those flowers went away since After flowering it is proper to remover the old flowers. The best for you to do its to leave it like that , because you never know if trimming will actually get things worse ,
if the pseudobulb from which the inflorescence grow is damaged , then the plant will get sick
Reply:I would leave it be, the flower spike will turn brown, and become brittle, just cut that part off in time, I have had one that produced another flower spike, and one that produced a kiki (baby orchid) off the old spike.
