I cut one of my Phal. Orchid's stems down after it stopped flowering. It is less green then it was. Is it ok?

I have two Orchids. I'd like to know about this so that I can be prepared for when the next one stops flowering.

Are you saying that the leaves are less green? How many leaves is this happening to? This may be a normal thing. The bottom leaves of the Phalaenopsis die off as new ones grow. Phalaenopsis orchids usually have from four to six leaves and lose one or two each year. It's hard to say what is happening without seeing your orchid, but this may be what is going on.
