An orchid present ?

I was planning to give my last year teacher a Valentine present. My mom was at a flower shop and bought tall fake orchids. It was not very expensive. It is really tall and there is only one stem with the roots and everything. It's flat and looks very real. I was wondering if this gift is very appropiate?

I wouldn't really try to. But it's really fine. I would probably try to buy a chocolate rose. It's pretty and very affordable. Im getting the chocolate rose for my teacher. Good luck !

Reply:If the teacher is a male..it may be awkward for him to accept such a gift...but the fact that it is fake makes it a bit more informal.



If it is for a female teacher...go for it.



I think it's a very considerate and appropriate gift.
