My kitten broke off a stem containing two flowers and a bud of an orchid.?

Is there any way I can tape/glue it back to the plant and it will still survive? They are the only flowers on the orchid. At the moment it is sitting in water.

If it is just the flowes from the orchid - then don't worry. Cut orchid flowers last for a very long time. Next, removing the stem containing flowers from an orchid will do no long term damage to your orchid.

Just go and pet your kitten and laugh.
Reply:You cannot reattach it. Put it in a small bud vase and keep the end in water. The flowers will last a long time and if it is developed enough the bud might even open.
Reply:This might be absolutely useless advice as I know nothing about orchids, but I know that when trying to breed hybrid tulips, they used to graft mixed bulbs together using egg white as a binding agent as it dries like glue, is organic and will not poison the plant. As I say, I have no idea if you can "glue" orchids back together, but it might be worth a try?
Reply:No, chalk it up to experience and keep the kitten and the orchid apart.
