Help! Does anyone own a Miltoniopsis house orchid?

I was given this lovely house orchid as a present but havent a cue how to look after it as there was no care instructions included! I would like to know if it likes direct sunlight, how much water does it need and how often etc?

Oh yeah, I got them all over the house. I just water it and mix in some toothpaste and coffee-grounds with the water.
Reply:I've never tried a Miltoniopsis; from what I've heard they like higher humidity and cooler temperatures than my kitchen could provide. (My kitchen ranges from 68-75, and 40-55% humidity.) I know they don't like direct sun.

Reply:I'm not sure if i've ever had one of those, but i have had lots of orchids and they don't like direct sunlight but do like to be warm and they also don't like to be over watered. I bought a carton of orchid food from b%26amp;q and make up a litre of water and food and then give them a good water once or twice a week(usually a quarter of a litre!)

It's really how you feel about the peet and bark around it, don't leave it sat in huge amounts of water though!
