I cut the only flowering spike of an orchid about 2inches from the bottom where the leaves meat?
Yes, if you take really good care of it, mist it, keep it in a warm humid place with indirect sunlight. Good orchid food. Some people take them to orchid nurseries to be nurtured until they bloom again.
Reply:It will eventually come back, if given the right amount of light, humidity,and darkness.They need 8 hours at least,to rest. Also feed them regularly.(I did the same thing,it came back.)
