Can you please help me named this orchid? If its not an orchid, then can you please just name it if you know.?

My Uncle gave it to me coz he doesn't know how to take care of it. It was a gift to him so he doesn't know the name.

Difficult to tell without bloom, but on first look and shape of new growth, I would say cymbidium.



Look up some pictures and ask your uncle if he remembers what the flowers looked like.
Reply:Looks like an aloe plant. What kind of soil are u using, or is it bark? Orchids usually use bark. Since there is no picture of a flower on it it's hard to tell. Orchids are very expensive and hard to take care of. I would say Google Orchids and see what advice comes up, see what pictures you can find.

Reply:I think it is an Iris. Difficult to determine what kind of Iris without a bloom but I am quite sure it is an Iris.
