What conditions does a cultivated slipper orchid need to flower?

It was in flower when bought and the plant looks healthy. Kept in good light but not direct sun. Temperature peak 20C min 16C

Reply:The best way for a lady slipper orchid to flower is in the kitchen on the window seal, you must spray it with leaf feeder for it to grow, normally when it has flowered wait for the flower to die and go brown, then it will fall off and the stalk will go brown, wait for this to dry then cut about 1 inch from the base of the plant. the plant will then grow a new plant next to it. DO not cut any leaves off even if they go brown
