Hi:
I am a landscaper and designer. Owning your own Orchid nursery will depend on a few factors. Do you grow your own Orchids? Do you have access to wholesalers that you can do business with? Do you have the area where you can provide a good environment for Orchids to survive, as well as for your customers to visit and potentially buy?
These are just a few thoughts. Starting any small business takes an enormous amount of work. But I agree 100 percent with an answer below. You must start with a passion of Orchids, and build your business with the knowledge you have acquired. Research all the different possibilities that you may have around your area. Is it possibly feasible to down the road have an on line business? Your goal is to plan, prepare, implement and maintain a business in order for it to become successful. Always try and stay focused and self motivate. Your number one goal is client satisfaction!
I hope this has helped some and best of luck to you on your wonderful journey. I will link you to the site map of my website. Browse through and see if you can find any information that may be helpful to you. Have a great day!

Could I make good money starting an orchid nursery business?
Visit the nurseries in your area and see if they carry orchids, what varieties, and how many of each. Orchids are a high-end flower, not for people's yards, and you have to figure out if there's a market for them.
Reply:Depending on where you are, I'd a say yes. Most of your money will be made in the spring when people are looking to buy plants for their own yard.
Reply:Yes you can depending on where you are in the world and you access to Orchids %26amp; People who like Orchids.
To start a bussiness you need to be passionate about what you sell and off you go.
If people are a problem, sell them on the internet.
It possibly won't make you heeps of money, you should be able to pay for your passion!
Good Luck and enjoy.
