Phals bloom once a year after the new season growth is mature. They usually set spikes by December.

Once the bloom is spent, the spike should be cut off and the plant repotted in fresh medium. It will develop new roots and leaves within about a month after repotting.

For more information and instructions see source.
Reply:does it have knew buds on it already it should.there not hard to maintain just do what you have been doing don't overwater it though if the soil is moist to the touch don't water it.
