Try either of these sites to see if your orchid is there.

I found a beautiful orchid at my friends place .we would like to find its name .what do i do?
Take a picture of the orchid (do NOT pick the blossom!), and send it to the American Orchid Society. They can help you identify the type of orchid you have found. Picking the blossom and/or digging up the plant can be a violation of conservation laws, so leave it as you found it.
Reply:There are tons of books on orchids at your library, or go to a nursury/plant %26amp; garden supply and look through them. There are sooooo many varieties and types. Did you know Vanilla beans are from an orchid? You can probably find a site for orchid fans on a website...use your yahoo web search. A book or professional can also give growing tips....they can be picky plants! Some like high humidity and some just a tad bit. Depends of the variety. Good luck!
Reply:A good place to start is with Google Images

I think you will find it in under ten minutes.
Good Luck
Reply:Take a good picture of it and look up your Orchid Society or take the picture to a real nursery that has special plants and people who know what they are. Or you can start trying to type it yourself by net searching orchids.
Reply:you visit orchids society or you can start trying to type it yourself by net searching orchids.
Reply:Visit Flower Shops....they are more or less the best people to ask its name and the kinds and how to take care of it should you wish to grow it.
